2008-2011 Directory Project
1. The directory project was initiated by the Pilot Rock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. They contributed $500 towards the project.
2. Members of the Cedar Township Trustees, Directors of Cedar Cemetery, and concerned citizens formed a committee to erect a structure to house the directory.
3. In the meantime the Stanford Post #670 of the Larrabee American Legion was disbanding, and they wanted to be a part of the project. The Larrabee Legion purchased the monument to veterans, 2 park benches, flag poles, solar lights, and contributed money toward the structure.
4. Landscaping around the structure was donated by local citizens. This project was proof that great things can happen when people work together.
